The 2nd set of JFL fixtures take place this weekend with 2 games on Saturday and the rest of the games on Sunday.
On Saturday, HOYO Oita host Honda FC and Sagamihara SC welcome local rivals Machida Zelvia. HOYO are coming off the back of an opening day defeat to Y.S.C.C. while Honda FC won their opener against their namesakes from the Honda Lock Sports Club. In Kanagawa, Sagamihara host Zelvia in the home JFL debut. Machida Zelvia surprisingly lost against Fukushima United in their season opener while Sagamihara were narrowly edged out by Nagano Parceiro. This looks like being a good game.
On Sunday, the pick of the games would seem to be Fukushima United‘s first JFL home game against Yokogawa Musahino. A goal from Takashi Kamoshida was enough to lift the Reds over Machida last weekend but Yokogawa also won their opening game as they beat MYFC Fujieda 2-0 with two second half strikes. Blaublitz Akita & Zweigen Kanazawa will look to get over their 3-0 opening day defeats as they take on Sagawa Printing and Y.S.C.C. respectively. In Miyazaki, Honda Lock take on Kamatamare Sanuki; last season’s runners up AC Nagano Parceiro head to Kanto to face Tochigi UVA; Fujieda host Norihiro Satsukawa’s FC Ryukyu and Sony Sendai play host to MIO Biwako Shiga. Keep an eye out for MIO forward Yuma Tsubata who scored twice in their 3-0 win over Akita last week.
