This weekend’s games in the JFL are over, and there were away wins for two of the favourites for the division.

On Saturday, Kamatamare Sanuki edged out Zweigen Kanazawa in front of just over 1900 people in Kanazawa. An early goal from Yasumasa Nishino was enough to settle things in Ishikawa and Sanuki have now won three out of their opening four league games.

On Sunday, AC Nagano Parceiro continued their 100% start to the season as they triumphed 3-1 against HOYO Oita thanks to goals from Sato, Matsuo & Tanaka, securing Nagano’s fourth win out of four in the process. The defeat means HOYO have lost 3 out of their 4 games this season, and the Oita club travel to Machida next week. FC Ryukyu in-form striker Shunta Takahashi scored his fifth goal of the season against Fukushima United but it was only enough for a point for the Okinawa side. Fukushima canceled out Takahashi’s goal through one from Korean forward Kim Hyon Geon, and the draw means both teams remain in the upper echelons of the embryonic league table.  Also up there are Blaublitz Akita who beat previously unbeaten Honda FC 2-0 in Akita. Takeshi Handa scored his third of season and Masutoshi Matsuda added another as the Blue & Whites won their third straight game.

Machida Zelvia are finding the re-transition to the JFL a bit tougher than most expected, and they experienced another disappointing result as they were held to a 0-0 draw by bottom club Honda Lock. Lock are now level on points (well, point) with Tochigi Uva who were beaten 2-0 by Sagamihara SC. The JFL new boys claimed the win thanks to second half goals from Yuki Matsumoto and Tetsuya Kanno and they are now comfortably in mid-table. Brazilian forward Kerlon grabbed his first goal of the season, and it was enough to see Fujieda MYFC to victory against Sagawa Printing while Sony Sendai were 2-0 winners against Y.S.C.C.
