Well, well, well! We have now have joint leaders in the JFL after this weekend’s games.
AC Nagano Parceiro were handed their first defeat of the season at the Yurtec Stadium as Sony Sendai came from behind to beat them 2-1. Nagano opened the scoring early through Naoki Hatada but goals from Seta & Okubo gave the home side a win which moves them onto 12 points. Parceiro are joined at the top by Kamatamare Sanuki, although the Kagawa club were fortunate to escape from their home game against Fujieda MYFC with a 2-2 draw. Fujieda went two up through Kerlon & Sato but for the second week running they coughed up a two goal lead as Kamatamare stormed back via goals from Kijima & a late equalizer from Okamoto. Sanuki join the leaders on 16 points.
FC Ryukyu are now in third place after their white-hot striker Shunta Takahashi helped them to a 4-1 win at YSCC. The Okinawa club are joined on 14 points by surging Machida Zelvia who recorded their third win in a row by seeing off Blaublitz Akita 2-0 at Nozuta.
MIO Biwako Shiga also won their third game in a row at the weekend when they beat Sagawa Printing 2-0 in Kyoto. Goals from Yusuke Watanabe & Jo Okumura saw the men in green continue their good form. Zweigen Kanazawa had to settle for a point in their home game against Sagamihara SC despite Satoru Makino giving them a two goal lead. Late goals from Keita Sogaba and Keisuke Moriya rescued a point for the visitors and the draw means Sagamihara are now five games unbeaten.
Honda FC and Yokogawa Musashino played out a 0-0 draw in Hamamatsu while special mention goes to HOYO Oita who recorded their second win of the season by trouncing Tochigi Uva 5-0 away from home.
Fukushima United’s home game against Honda Lock was postponed due to snow, and will be played on May 22nd.
