The JFL state of play

I’ve mistreated the JFL lately, but for no longer! Let me bring you up to date with what has been happening over a busy Golden Week(end).

Kamatamare Sanuki lead the JFL by two points from Machida Zelvia after they won 4-0 at MIO Biwako Shiga on Sunday. (I was at this game and will post a more detailed blog later). Machida Zelvia had fought to a narrow 1-0 at Yokogawa Musashino on Saturday.

Former front-runners AC Nagano Parceiro kept up with the leaders by beating FC Ryukyu 1-0 in Okinawa, Keita Tanaka getting the only goal of the game in the first half. Blaublitz Akita are in fourth, but they were very lucky to get a point in their game against Honda Lock, Shinarou Hirai’s late goal rescuing a point for the hosts.

Sony Sendai are in fifth place, a goal in either half was enough to see them past now-bottom Tochigi Uva. Fujieda MYFC fought back from 2 goals to draw with SC Sagamihara in Shizuoka. Matsumoto & Gokyo had given the Greens a two goal cushion but goals from Alan and Yuta Murase got Fujieda back level.

Honda FC won 1-0 at Sagawa Printing; two first half goals for Fukushima United helped them win 2-1 at YSCC and HOYO Oita won 2-1 against Zweigen Kanazawa.
