Hiroshi Sekita, Gifu’s promising centre-half, has been ruled out for the next 6 weeks at least after being ordered to rest a right foot bone injury. He hasn’t played since last month’s defeat at Tochigi SC and there had been murmurings of a more severe injury, so in one way 6 weeks is a good prognosis.

Hopefully Hiroshi will be back healthy in 6 weeks, as Gifu’s defensive ranks look wafer thin at the minute. Who knows, Tatsuya Arai might have to be deployed as a defender! Imagine that!
