Consadole Sapporo 4-0 FC Gifu

Four goals conceded, three from mistakes. I’m going to leave my report at that and just put it down as one of those days. One of those very bad days.

Hopefully this means all the mistakes are out of the system in readiness for the big game against Giravanz Kitakyushu on Saturday night.

What a shambles that game was! Despite the lopsided result, if Gifu hadn’t made two huge mistakes, and Sapporo’s 3rd (4th?) goal had been ruled correctly as offside, then Gifu would have been right in the game and could have come home with a result..
But as you say, just wasn’t their day!

Tottori game was an absolute cracker! Thank buddha for saturday games giving the fans the chance to make it to these away games.

Kitakyu, are playing well at the moment, but hopefully with Des back the team will have a bit more stability at the back and be able to do something with this newly found confidence up front.
I won’t be there for this one, but will be for Gamba. Hopefully though we can get back off the bottom of the table for at least another few days anyway by beating the chirapants!

Yeah, I watched the highlights and to be honest I just had to laugh. If I had sat down and analyzed it then it would have driven me insane!!

But Des is back! Nakashima is nearing full fitness and that is another plus. It will be a difficult game on Saturday because Giravanz have suddenly started to click – and they’ve scored 10 in their last two games. I feel it could be an exciting game on Saturday!! I’m also going to miss the Giravanz game and might miss the Gamba game too. Hopefully not, but it is looking dicey.

I’m going to go for a 4-2 win for Gifu on Saturday night. Goals galore!
