Two well taken goals from the visitors saw off the hosts, who did have chances of their own. Another home defeat and the rumblings of discontent – it is shaping up to be a difficult period at the Nagaragawa club.

Tochigi SC 0-1 Roasso Kumamoto

A late goal from marauding left sided player Shosuke Katayama gave Roasso a crucial, if surprising win in Tochigi. New coach Ikeya has 4 points from his first two games.

Mito Hollyhock 2-2 Gainare Tottori

A late goal by Hollyhock’s Naoki Wako claimed a point for his side and denied the visitors an important win. Gainare twice took the lead, but couldn’t hold on for a win. However, this is still a very useful point from a tricky place to play.

Kataller Toyama 1-1 V-Varen Nagasaki

Bit of a surprise result here as the high flying visitors were held by Kataller. Recently returned from injury, Seo Yong Dok scored a late equalizer for the hosts to cancel out Ogasawara’s first half goal.

Tokushima Vortis 4-1 Thespa Kusatsu Gunma

Suddenly in-form Vortis brushed aside Thespa at the Pocari Sweat Stadium. Thespa actually took the lead, but goals from Tomohiro Tsuda, Kosei Shibasaki and a late double from Douglas easily saw them to victory.

Giravanz Kitakyushu 1-1 Kyoto Sanga

Giravanz took a point off the unpredictable Sanga, but they will be very disappointed as they held the lead going into the last minute, but Koji Yamase struck to deflate the home side.
