Another day, more incomings for FC Gifu.
Sagan Tosu defender Kousuke Kitani joins the club on loan. He is a vastly experienced defender with over 200 games in J2 and brings depth to a defence which has had its fair share of injuries/suspensions recently.
Macedonian forward Blazhe Ilijovski comes in to provide a spark up front. He has represented his country on six occasions, scoring one goal. He has played in Korea with Incheon United, in Romania with Brazov & Rapid Bucharest and most recently was at Rabotnički in his homeland. He looks like he has a decent enough scoring record throughout his career so here’s hoping that he can replicate that form for Gifu.
The upshot of Ilijovski signing is that Brazilian forward Lemos has been released from the club. He didn’t really get much of a chance, and I hope he gets one at his next club.
