A couple of bits of injury news were released by the club today.

Croatian playmaker Stipe Plazibat will miss the next month due to severe thigh strain suffered in the 3-2 defeat against Shonan Bellmare at the weekend. It sounds bad, but it looked like it could’ve been a lot worse. Unfortunately it has been a bit of an injury hit year so far for Stipe, this injury coming on the back of his broken hand in February. Hopefully we will see him back in a Gifu uniform before Golden Week in Japan.

Meanwhile Yuki Fukaya, who suffered a knee ligament injury during the club’s pre-season training camp in Oita, underwent surgery in late February and it is estimated that it will take around 6 months for him to get back to fitness.

We wish both of these players a speedy recovery
