Anime x Soccer report

sunday’s meeting between FC Gifu and Mito Hollyhock was a continuation of the anime tie-up between the clubs. Gifu is the setting for the anime “No-rin” about an agricultural high school while Ibaraki (home prefecture of Mito) is the location for “Girls und Panzer” – an anime which depicts the sport of tank warfare between high school girls….yes, you read that right.

Anyway, the tie-up (which also involves Tokyo Verdy) is in its second season, and there were a variety of events to celebrate it on Sunday. Here are a few photos from the day:
